A Winter Park Colorado Hotel, the Rocky Mountain Chalet, is a boutique hotel based upon a classic European Chalet. Our new, immaculate chalet is nestled in the Winter Park/Fraser Valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains, blue skies, alpine lakes with multi-colored wildflowers in summer and lots of glistening snow in the winter. In our quaint mountain town there's no rat race, no pressure, and no attitude (just altitude). Instead, we have friendly locals in one of the most beautiful small towns in the USA. The endless list of activities includes hot air ballooning, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, rafting, horseback riding, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and just relaxing.

We offer beautifully furnished private rooms and extremely clean, comfortable dorm rooms. Our staff is friendly, helpful and always willing to answer questions or help you plan your day. We are located on the free shuttle route which services the local area, and we are within walking distance of the Amtrak train, grocery market, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, bike and ski rental.
