Name: Yoga Nidra - the Sleep of the Yogis with Lisa Havlik
Date: September 18, 2014
Time: 5:30 PM - 7:15 PM MDT
Event Description:

Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep and refers to the conscious awareness of the Deep Sleep state. The state of Yoga Nidra is deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. Time spent in Yoga Nidra opens us to deeper clarity, and is one of the deepest of all meditations, leading us to supreme stillness and insight. Access to the deeper realms of the mind allows us to release the sources of tension, anxiety, unwanted habits, and self-limiting beliefs and to awaken our greatest inner potential. This class will begin with a light asana practice and breath work. The majority of the practice will be performed in Savasana (corpse pose).

Lisa Havlik was formally introduced to yoga in 1996 and it was love at first sight. Yoga's ability to meet everyone at just the right place is an inspiration for her teaching style. After leaving the corporate world, and moving from NYC to Winter Park, CO, she was finally able to recognize and realize her dream of becoming a yoga instructor. Lisa completed her 200hr Teach Certification at Samadhi Center for Yoga in Denver, CO in 2011. Teaching all around Grand County, Lisa enjoys the many faces yoga has introduced to her, and loves to share her personal experiences from yoga on and off the mat. Throughout her yoga journey, Lisa has studied with Master Teachers from many different yoga backgrounds including, Tias Little, Judith Hanson Lasater, Matthew Sanford, Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, Seane Corn, Rod Stryker and many others. Lisa is excited to bring her passion and enthusiasm for all that yoga has to offer to the Mountain Moon Community!
