Restorative yoga is a passive, gentle practice that opens the body and mind through yoga postures and props, guided meditation, relaxation techniques, and breath exercises. Darcy creates a safe, comfortable space in which her students can fully and deeply relax. Students are then able to find an inner peace through natural relaxation that is unlike any other yoga experience. Dress comfortably, yoga clothes not required.
Darcy Miller is a light-hearted, compassionate, and encouraging teacher. She creates a comfortable, friendly space where every ability and body is welcome and valued. In class, she is mindful of alignment and honors the integrity of each student’s unique practice. As a teacher, Darcy believes yoga heals and helps students re-discover deep contentment within themselves. Her intention is to help others live full, healthy lives through yoga. She has over 500 hours training in restorative, alignment-focused, and power vinyasa yoga with particular focus on anatomy and therapeutics.
