Name: National Trails Day with HTA-Meadowridge Trail construction
Date: June 4, 2016
Time: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM MDT
Event Description:
National Trails Day was created by The American Hiking Society. It is a national celebration of trails and an opportunity for Americans to experience our country's 200,000+miles of trails. To celebrate, Headwaters Trails Alliance is hosting a trail building event. We will be constructing the Meadowridge trail, a new pedestrian trail that will connect Meadowridge to the Fraser River Trail. This is a continuation of a project which started this past fall. Come and join us for a beautiful day outside! You will get a chance to learn some basic trail building skills, as well as get hands on experience.
We will provide gloves and tools for all volunteers. Please be prepared with long pants and closed toed shoes. Snacks will be provided, but please bring a sack lunch and plenty of water.
Please RSVP for this event by emailing Erica at GCadoptatrail@gmail.com or calling (970)726-1013
