Event Description:
Join us inn the nations largest single-day volunteer effort for America's publi lands. Meet us at the YMCA-Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic Center at 7am for a fun filled day! This is your chance to improved the trails and areas you love while enjoying beautiful fall colors.
Volunteers will be transported from the YMCA Nordic Center to each work site. Please bring a lunch and lots of water! A catered dinner with live music will be provided in the evening when you return to the YMCA Nordic Center from your project.
Projects include:
Akima's Way-Leland Creek Trail System: Constructing a 160' boardwalk
Colorado River Cleanup: Cleanup by boat between Pumphouse and State Bridge
Fraser to Granby trail: Replacing 200+ rotted log trail barriers near the YMCA enterance
Gilsonite Trail: Building an elevated turnpike and/or boardwalk on a single-track motorized trail
Green Mountain: General trail improvements and maintenance
Strawberry Phases: General trail improvements and maintenance
