Saturday, January 7, 4:30-7 pm, $70/$65 if paid by 1/3
In this workshop you will learn about malas, which are prayer beads that come in various forms and span a variety of traditions. Whether worn as adornment or used during mantra or meditation practice, malas are beautiful strings of beads that represent intention and our sacred connection to the universe. This early January workshop is at a perfect time to set intentions for the New Year. Making malas is a meditative practice, and you will come away with your own special self-made, hand-made mala. Beads, cord, and tassel materials will be provided, and are included in the workshop price. Bring a small, needle-nosed or round-nosed pliers and a pair of scissors if you have them (we'll have a few extra).
