We are an alternative rock band from Leadville, Colorado. Our style incorporates a variety of important musical genres and tones that range from, but are not limited to, rock, reggae, bluegrass, jam, folk, funk, hip-hop, alternative, and blues. For the members of the group, music, like many other adrenaline-pumping mountain activities, is not just a hobby but a way of life. Living in the highest city in the USA at 10,200 ft, gives us a unique perspective of the world. Our music is not only an extension of our outdoor lifestyle, but a way for us to express ourselves about the trials of mountain life. Leadville Cherokee creates scenes through our music that are reminiscent of our lifestyles, such as peacefully floating through the snow on a powder day, waking up to a beautiful sunrise, or rafting down Class 5 rapids. Most importantly, our music always encourages audience members to boogie-down at one of our diverse-sounding, energy-driven shows.
