Cowgirl & Cowboy Fall Fun Day at Cabin Creek Stables  Open to ages 18 and older.  Boxed lunches provided.  Room for 8 guests. Couples or singles welcome. Minimum of 2 participants. Lodging, and other activities not included. Program outline as follows: OFFERED: Wednesday, October 7th 8:00-8:30am - Meet the crew! Introductions of the wrangler staff and plan of events for the day. 8:30am - Meet your horse! Wranglers will pair up in groups of 2 to teach the proper technique of catching, haltering and leading your horse. Short introduction to basic groundwork and understanding your horse.  9:30am - Saddling Groom and saddle your own steed! Don't worry, for the horses sake we will not let you look too bad!  10:00am - Ride out as a group or 2 by 2 (with a wrangler) to explore the Ranch and all it has to offer! We will stay to the lowest ability in the group so please speak up if you have any special requests.  12:00pm - Boxed Lunch @ Stables Visit & take photos with your horse. Questions & ideas.  1:00 pm - 3pm - Back on the range!  Group 1 - Cattle Drive with sorting to understand how ranch animals are raised and used in our property. Learn low stress ways to move cattle and still get the job done.  Group 2 - Team Driving Demonstration/opportunity. You will be taught the basics of harnessing and driving 2 of our Percheron draft horses. 3:00pm - 5:00pm Group 1 & 2 switch 5:00pm - 6:00pm - Fun time in the arena! Wanna end the day with some fun. Try your hand at running the barrels, poles, keyhole or anything else you may have in mind. Let loose!
