The Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade is one of the most beloved Winter Park traditions. Enjoy caroling, hot chocolate and Santa starting at 3 PM in The Village. Don't miss Santa's special reading of "'Twas the Ngiht Before Christmas" at 4 PM in The Village gazebo. Then move over around the bonfire at the base of Winter Park Resort to enjoy carolers and prepare for this stunning parade. At 5:30pm, a procession of torch-bearing skiers and riders begin their way down Lower Hughes Trail, followed by Santa Claus and his merry helpers. A spectacular fireworks dispaly and snowcats adorned with Christmas colors light up the slopes in a Christmas tree formation to conclude the festivities.
Immediately following the show at 6pm, visitors are welcome to attend Christmas Eve non-denominational services located in the lower level of Balcony House. The service is scheduled to last about one hour.
After the show, enjoy a holiday buffet mountain top at Sunspot Lodge. To make reservations, visit www.winterparkresort.com/things-to-do/events/christmas-eve-torchlight-parade
