1994 Olympic Silver Medalist and Grand County resident, Liz McIntyre will present the history of women skiers.  This event is in celebration of Women’s History Month.  Some of the personalities you will hear about are Gretchen Fraser, Andrea Mead Lawrence, and Hot Sulphur Springs’ own Alice Throckmorton.  Liz McIntyre won the Olympic Silver Medal in 1994 for freestyle skiing women’s moguls in Lillehammer.  She was a longtime member of the Winter Park Freestyle Ski Team.
